![]() ![]() More than 200 users have left glowing five star reviews on the gadget, with one calling it a ‘game-changer for pet owners’. It offers priceless peace of mind when we’re away, as well as an additional layer of security to our home. We have absolutely loved using the Furbo camera to keep an eye on Phoebe and Frank while we’re out of the house. The brand also recommends you place it at an appropriate height in comparison to your dog to avoid any mishaps. As such, there’s also doubled-sided tape on the bottom of the Furbo, to prevent it from being knocked over, just in case. ![]() During the development process of Furbo, many dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities tested out the sturdiness of the camera. We thought so too, but Phoebe and Frank have been very respectful of the camera and haven’t yet tried to destroy it. “If that was my dog, they’d have that pulled over and be inside it in 15 minutes”. It's insanely entertaining to watch, and I've heard no complaints from my dogs about it yet. The hole in the front then fires out between one and three treats, depending on how many happen to be in the chamber, and your dog can snuffle them up from the floor (or catch them mid-air, depending on their paw-eye coordination). Phoebe and Frank very quickly fell in love with the Furbo camera that spits out dog treats When you throw a treat on the app, the camera makes the noise of a squeaky ball to alert your dog to the incoming snack - but you can also record your own sound to signal the treat. We filled our Furbo with small round pieces of kibble and resealed the lid. With a swipe of a finger, you can toss treats to reward your pet for their good behaviour - and it’s incredibly effective. But my favourite feature of all has to be the treat throwing. Like many cameras, the Furbo also allows you to hear and speak with your dog via two-way audio, meaning you can tell them to get off the sofa, stop barking at the postman, or stop chewing the TV remote. On the app, you can also set up the auto dog tracking feature, which automatically rotates to track your pup as they move around the room, so you don’t have to manually search for them if they’re out of shot. But you can see more than ever with it’s 360 degree view, spinning the camera remotely using the arrows on the app.The footage itself is incredibly clear with Full HD 1080p vision and 4x zoom, as well as enhanced night vision that works better than some of the other models we’ve tried. The camera has a very wide lens - we could see almost the entire living room. From there, you can explore a range of features and ensure everything is in full working order. It was a simple matter of plugging it in, downloading the app, and connecting it to the WiFi with the instructions given on the app. ![]() It almost looks like an oil burner or automatic air freshener, so it never looks out of place on your bookshelf, fireplace or other vantage point. We have ours sitting neatly next to our record player next to our Amazon Echo, which the Furbo can be linked up to. The camera itself is on the larger side, but its sleek white design and wooden lid allows it to seamlessly become part of the furniture. The latest Furbo 360 Dog Camera has a range of exciting features that makes it far more superior than other pet security cameras, including motion tracking, two-way audio and best of all - a treat tossing feature. But there’s always been one particular brand on my want-list - the Rolls Royce of doggy cameras - and we have finally got our hands on the Furbo 360 Dog Camera. ![]() To help put our minds at ease, we invested in a pet security camera, starting with the Tapo, but also acquired an Arlo camera too, both of which we still use in various rooms of the house. ![]()
